graphmod

graphmod is an open-source mod for Claude Code that turns diagrams in Claude's replies into real pictures. It adds a short section to the system prompt asking Claude to draw diagrams as Graphviz dot blocks instead of ASCII art. When a reply contains a closed dot block, graphmod styles the graph and renders it: as a PNG image in terminals that support the kitty graphics protocol (Ghostty, cmux, kitty, WezTerm), or as an SVG in the Claude Code desktop app, VS Code and mobile. It is built for developers who ask Claude Code to explain architecture, data flows or system layers. Each cluster gets its own color and tinted background, and each box becomes a card with a colored badge, a bold title and a short detail line. Under the picture, a link opens an interactive HTML page where you can hover a box to highlight its neighbors, click to pin it, drag it and zoom.
